A normal person is usually healthy. It is the result of living in accordance with natural laws pertaining to the body, mind and environment. Body of every living organism is healthy in itself, but when invaded by certain external elements or germs the body suffers from certain abnormal conditions. This abnormal condition is called a disease. The disease disturbs the normal functioning of various organs of the body.
Diseases are caused by germs. When the germs enter the body, they multiply their number and attack on the resistance power of the body; they multiply their number and attack on the resistance power of the body, which shows the detectable reaction. Thus disease is a detectable reaction of an individual, to a parasite in a particular environment. In fact, the disease is the result of ‘mal-adjustment’ of the human organism to the environment. But if the body continues to get proper fresh air, balanced and nutritive diet, appropriate rest, sunshine and light, and the atmosphere in which the person lives is free from the germs of infectious diseases, then it is not possible for him to fall a prey to any disease. Besides this, the rest, relaxation, internal and external cleanliness, right attitude, and proper exercise help the body to function smoothly, which leads to longevity. Health and disease are parts of the natural process, where proper care and timely treatment is necessary for a state of good health, whereas carelessness leads to disorder of the body and at last to death.

                                                     Types of diseases
There are various types of diseases, but all of them can be classified mainly under two groups. They are:
Communicable disease
A disease caused by specific pathogenic germs and transferred in a great variety of ways is known as a communicable disease. It is transmitted from an infected person or animal, directly or indirectly, through the agencies (water, air, personal contact, food) of an intermediate host or the inanimate environment. In fact, a disease that tends to spread among different individuals in a
Community is known as a communicable disease. Some examples of communicable diseases are
cholera, dysentery, tuberculosis, common cold and tetanus.
Non-communicable disease
The disease which is not transmitted from one person to another through any media is called a non-communicable disease. The cause of this disease is bad health habit, malnutrition, and
ageing. In some cases, heredity may be observed as a cause of the disease. Cancer, heart disease, diabetes and gall-stone are some examples of non-communicable diseases.
Prevention of diseases
Prevention is better than cure. We may safeguard our life from various diseases by
the adoption of preventive means. Timely attention, care, and respect of healthy rules help in living a healthy life whereas unhealthy habits and carelessness may create various hazards, and my lead to
various diseases. Thus, to keep the family and society healthy one has to think regarding the mode of prevention.
                                      Prevention of communicable diseases
Communicable diseases result from the interaction of an agent, host, and environment. so, the preventive measures of the communicable diseases are as follows:
a) Use of safe drinks: some of the communicable diseases, like cholera, dysentery and typhoid are transmitted through the use of contaminated water and drink. Hence, the use of clean and germ-free water is thought to be done of the preventive measures against communicable diseases.
b) Safe and balanced food: communicable diseases may spread through the unbalanced, and contaminated food. So, we should be careful while selecting, purchasing, preparing and handling food. we must select the balanced food according to the work and need of the body, which will provide proper nutrition and energy for the maintenance of good health.
c) Cleanliness: cleanliness and sanitation is a way of life. It is a quality of humans that is expressed in a
clean home, clean farm, clean neighbourhood and a clean community. Cleanliness and sanitation are the
means which control all those things in the surroundings which would harm one’s health and longevity.
among  the various preventive measures, the most effective, quickest and the cheapest means is the cleanliness and sanitation.
d) Immunization: immunization is a means of protection against the results of infectious diseases within the human body. It is a widely accepted level of protection against a large number of communicable diseases. The proper and timely immunization saves the individuals from the unforseen health hazards. Diseases like polio, tuberculosis, tetanus, whoopin cough can be prevented by immunizing children at an early age.
                                        Prevention of non communicable diseases
When the diseases are not transmitted through one person or animal to another person, it is known as non-communicable diseases. Non-communicable diseases have their own causes, such as heredity, lack of balanced diet, over or under secretion of hormones and environment. Non-communicable diseases are more dangerous than communicable diseases. therefore, everyone should be conscious about the prevention of such diseases. some os the major preventive measures of non- communicable diseases are:
. Good and healthy habits.
. Personal and environmental sanitation.
. Proper rest and sleep.
. Proper and regular exercise.
. Regular elimination of body waste.
. Periodical medical check-up.
. Use of tobacco and tobacco products, alcohol, and narcotic drug should be avoided.
. Provision of safe drinking water.
. Cheerful and happy life, free from tention.

You might have learnt or come across the meaning of neighborhood in the previous classes. The simple meaning of neighborhood is one who lives next to our house. Neighbors are very important members next to our family members. We have our neighbors who are ready to help us in our difficulties and hardship. The one who helps and shares our joy and sorrow is called a good neighbour.
we work for a living. The work which we do for our living is called a job or profession. People follow various occupations for their livelihood. on the other hand, occupation means a type of job the needs special skills, training
or even education.
phurthen sherpa lives with his parents in a small village of raswa district. his father is a teacher. he teaches in school. the people in his neighbourhood follow different occupations. some of them rear animals, some of them
are shopkeepers, while others are farmers, teachers, tailors and blacksmith.
Raj shrestha’s house lies next to the house of shyam gurung. he is a shopkeeper. he brings goods from the supermarket which is far away from his locality and keeps them in his shop for selling. People come and buy
Goods from his shop.
rajesh is the best friend of shyam gurung. his father is a carpenter in the village. people from other villages also
come to him to buy furniture.
Similarly, every neighbour in the locality does a different job so that villagers can ask for help from each other when they are in need. as for an example, Raj shrestha, who owns a shop goes to his neighbour who is a tailor.
all the neighbours in the locality are interdependent with each other’s help when in need. all the occupations of our neighbourhood are equally important. we must respect one’s job without discrimination.

 DUTY TOWARDS THE COMMUNITY
we live in our family. there are many families like ours in our neighbourhood. all these failies together from a community.thus, a community is a collection of families living together in a place. different families in a community carry out different types of work. the work of all the families together keep the community happy. all the members in a community are important. they should be loved and respected equally. let me tell you a story of a community to understand this better.
Harilal chaudhary was a ten year old boy. he belonged to the tharu community and lived in sarlahi district. his parents were rich farmers, who had a lot of agricultural land.other families around his house were not well-to-do.
some of them were traders, some landless workers and some porters.there was also a health worker  who looked after the community health-post. Harilal’s father did not interact with other people in the community and did not help them.
one day, harilal’s parents were away on work.he was alone at home with his old grandparents. suddenly his grandmother developed severe stomach ache. she called harilal and asked him for  some hot water and medicine.
Since there was no hot water, harilal lighted fire and placed a container for heating the water. he then looked for medicine, but could nt find it. he ran to his neighbour’s  house for help. Mrs sharmila was alone at home. However, when she heard harilal’s problem, she volunteered to go the medical shop and bring the medicine.
In the meantime, the fire that was left unattended somehow flared up. it had just started spreading. when Harilal ran back home he found the house on fire. Harilal was shocked. for a moment he became nervous not knowing what to do. Thereafter, he ran to the well and brought buckets of water to douse the flame. at the same time he shouted for help at the  top of his voice. Some neighbours heard him and rushed to help him. They helped him and saved his house. They also brought his grandmother out of the house.
The porters carried his grandmother to the health-post. The health assistant immediately gave her medicines. Some of the villagers stayed back with harilal and helped him in setting his house. Thus, harilal’s house was saved by the
Members of his community.
Harilal’s father wanted to thank them and give them some reward, but they did not accept it. They all said that it was their duty to help people in the community. from that day onwards Harilal’s father realised the importance
Of all the families in a community. He became very friendly and helpful to them.
From above the story, it is clear that in a community every member is equally important. it is also clear that we need help from the  community. we should also help other members of community.

Garlic is one of the most popular natural foods nowadays, and it is an essential part in most of the cuisines in the world. Despite its unique flavor, garlic is incredibly effective in treating various health conditions, especially if consumed raw.

Garlic is believed to be able to prevent and treat almost all diseases. It effectively prevents atherosclerosis, heart attacks, coronary heart disease, and lowers cholesterol and blood pressure levels.

It also heals minor ailments like bug bites, common cold, flu, hay fever, fungal infections, and traveler’s diarrhea. Garlic efficiently controls the symptoms of diabetes, enlarged prostate, and osteoarthritis. Furthermore, its ability to eliminate toxins and strengthen the immunity is one of its most important properties.

In combination with ginger and onion, garlic detoxifies the body after chemotherapy.

For best results, use garlic in its raw form, since heat decentralizes allicin, its active ingredient. You should simply crush and chop the cloves, leave them for 15 minutes and then add it to your food.

Moreover, note that you actually improve its bioavailability if you crash it. Also, a full stomach cannot absorb all its nutrients, so it is best to consume it on an empty stomach, before drinking or eating anything.

In order to strengthen your immunity and raise your health to an optimal level, you should regularly consume the mixture of honey and garlic. This is how to prepare it:

Honey and raw garlic

Take 2-3 garlic cloves, chop them finely, and add a tablespoon of honey.

Take it every day and you will boost your energy levels to an extremely high extent!

Furthermore, the following garlic flu tonic will efficiently boost your immunity and prevent and soothe a sore throat and treat flu and cold symptoms. It is very potent and strong natural remedy. This is how to prepare it:

Garlic flu tonic-recipe

Ingredients:

5 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
Raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar
1 lemon, juiced
2 red chili peppers, coarsely chopped
Instructions:

If you have a sensitive skin, make sure you use gloves for the preparation of this tonic, as the natural oils of the ingredients may lead to burns or rashes.

Next, you should get a 350-500ml Mason jar, and add the chopped onion in one layer, then the chopped garlic in another, and then the hot peppers, with the seeds. Next, add the ginger, pour the lemon juice into the jar, and the organic apple cider vinegar in the end.

Seal the jar tightly, but note that you should leave 1cm of free space from the rim. Then, keep the jar in the pantry. Consume it regularly to prevent ailments, or until your symptoms completely disappear.

Inside A Hidden Epidemic

Learn all about parasites, these silent critters, which are causing so many health concerns.

The chilling reality may very well be that 8 out of 10 of us could be suffering from one or more microscopic vampires or even larger organisms. In 1978 a nationwide survey conducted by the CDC found that 1 in 6 people had one or more parasites. Nearly 30 years later, a second survey found that 1 in 3 were infected.

So – parasites are on the rise and are not only an inconvenient truth, but are one of the most unrecognized, neglected diseases of our time.

The truth is that any type of testing is not always accurate, so it’s impossible to use random stool testing as the “gold standard” for assessing true infection. In a study of diagnostic labs in the US, researchers found that one 1 in 10 correctly identified cases of amebic dysentery – a parasite that can kill you.

The Astounding Facts

Over 130 different “hidden invaders” can account for over 385 diseases.

Their symptoms go way beyond the gastro-intestinal tract. Parasites may be the “underlying” cause of some of the most prevalent insidious and mysterious disorders of our time like leaky gut syndrome – such a popular diagnosis today – as well as auto-immune problems, weight gain or weight loss, and viral conditions to name just a few.

More specifically, parasites and worms can impersonate a multitude of more recognizable diseases.

Chronic fatigue and candida can be a case of chronic giardia.
Ulcerative colitis may be a case of undiagnosed amoeba.
Migraine headaches and depression may be toxoplasmosis. In fact, in one study toxo was found in nearly 50 percent of migraine sufferers. It is believed that toxoplasmosis may stimulate the trigeminal nerve controlling facial and head pain. Other symptoms included mysterious body aches, a fever that comes and goes, and fatigue.
Asthma has been related to roundworm going through the lungs and even type I diabetes can have a parasite connection – tapeworm to be exact.
I have seen ADD and ADHD clear when pinworms were removed.
Food and environmental allergies disappear when worms are eliminated.
I have seen rashes and boils clear when people do a comprehensive targeted colon cleanse.
I have personally experienced how brain fog and hypoglycemia are “lifted” when thread worms are cleared from the system.
We now know that some forms of arthritis can be connected to amoeba while seizures can be triggered by a pork tapeworm infection.
The list goes on and on and can include constipation, diarrhea, gas and bloating, infectobesity, persistent flu-like symptoms, anemia, secondary gluten, casein and lactose intolerance, Crohn’s disease, sleep disturbances, and an enlarged liver or spleen.

Just remember one thing – above all else – as my original 106 year old mentor, Dr. Hazel Parcells, taught me so many decades ago: Parasites are THE most immunosuppressive agent known to man.

They place a major burden on the immune system and are especially toxic to the liver. By eliminating parasites first and foremost your body can then reduce its toxic load and your system can more efficiently clear pathogenic bacteria, heavy metals, fungus, and mold.

Evict These Invaders

Eating daily pumpkin seeds, garlic, onions, and taking HCL can help clear parasites from the system as can my daily cran-water (1 ounce of cranberry juice with 7 ounces of water) due to the four organic acids that can digest toxic wastes.

One tablespoon of Diatomaceous Earth in your daily smoothie can break up larger organisms like roundworms and threadworms due to its glass-like consistency.
